TRAVEL

Lyon by Flight: Lyon international airport is Saint Exupery Airport, located 20min from the city centre. You can come into the centre using a dedicated tramway (Rhonexpress)

Lyon by Train: you can reach Lyon directly by the high speed train lines (TGV) from Charles DeGaulle airport or other main train stations in Europe. The main central station is Gare de Lyon Part-Dieu, although if staying near the conference venue you may prefer to Lyon Perrache, often served by the same TGV trains. In Lyon: transportation in Lyon is easy using services of the TCL company: Plan your trip by Bus, Subway (Metro), and Tramway, or use the vaporetto! on the Saone river.

The city is easy to navigate on foot - you will regularly come across one of the two great rivers that meet in Lyon, and these are excellent for orienting the lost traveller.
